The North Loop
The North Loop should be familiar to those that have completed all the GPX courses thus far as it contains many sections of these. Starting in Rawdon meadows heading on the river Aire out towards Horsforth Hunger Hills and then to Rawdon Billing, over to Yeadon in the direction of the Chevin before chucking a left into Guiseley. Once in Guiseley we head into Esholt Woods and Esholt heading west along the Aire once more dipping our toe into Bradford postcodes, climbing right up to the top of Thackley before defending once more into Apperley Bridge to finish.
The South Loop aka ‘The Tour De 28’
The South Loop aka The Tour De 28, named after it’s Leeds Postcode namesake comprises of a grand tour of all it’s green spaces: Calverley Woods, Ravenscliffe Woods, Woodhall Hills, Black Carr Woods, Post Hill Woods and Fulneck Moravian Settlement, returning to Apperley Bridge via Calverley Woods. The Tour de 28 is also it’s own stand along GPX Race - perhaps you want to try this one first so it’s more familiar on your day of reckoning!
