The Tour De 28, named after it’s Leeds Postcode namesake comprises of a grand tour of all it’s green spaces: Calverley Woods, Ravenscliffe Woods, Woodhall Hills, Black Carr Woods, Post Hill Woods and Fulneck Moravian Settlement. The Tour De 28 is also the southern section and half of the West Leeds Trail Ultra.

Pin on map points to The Bottom of Calverley Cutting. There is a free car park at Rawdon Meadows Playing Fields. We like to encourage people to run or cycle to our events and there are plenty of places to lock your bike close to the start. Please note you park your vehicle at your own risk.

Nearest Train Station is Apperley Bridge, but you so choose you may start in Thornbury where you will be close to New Pudsey train station.

WARNING

(MAJOR) ROAD CROSSING This course contains road crossings, be vigilant when crossing roads. This course contains one major road crossing (three lane traffic), there is a pedestrian crossing further down the road.

UNDERGROWTH Small parts of the course may become overgrown in the height of summer, yes, that means nettles. So consider bringing a nettle bashing stick or wear leg protection. Someone kind may at some point go out on the course with a machete.
