RECCE DAYS

3 free recce events for our Leeds Country Way Ultra. These are great opportunities to get to know the route, meet fellow runners as well as a chance to ask any questions that you might have about running.

The pace will suit the group, no-one will be left behind and no one will be expected to push more than they are would like. With options to split the group, finish early or add a bit on, these recce events are for all runners. If you want to come for part of the route that’s fine but you must organise your own transport.

It’s worth noting that these free recce events are for all runners, not just those who are doing the Leeds Country Way Ultra.

LCW Recce day 1

Recce Day one consists of the Start of the LCW Ultras in Garforth running to Outwood Station. Both locations easily reachable by train.

These recces are designed for everyone and will go at an easy ‘shakeout’ pace with regular stops for breaks. If we feel the need to split any pace groups up we may do so.

KIT Requirements

For good practice we aim to mimic the race conditions as much as possible so it would be recommended to abide with the race kit list.
